The Funnel Hackers Cookbook Content Sequence
Russell has laid this chapter sequence out brilliantly. He is making it easier for the reader to learn everything about funnels.
First, he talks about the elements that are located inside the editor function of ClickFunnels. Consider that each element is equivalent to the ingredient that is included in the recipe. If you can learn these elements well, it will benefit you when creating a funnel later.
The pages section is next. Each one this particular page has its own specific purpose and they have their own unique set of elements required.
The last section is the funnels. Funnels are these pages that are combined in a set sequence so that it can get to its desired result. You can say that there is a particular recipe to be followed for each funnel.
One of the ClickFunnels hacks is customizing each of the 22 funnels that come with the program when you decide to get this program. These are the most commonly used funnels used by Russell and his followers.
You are not limited to this number, however. Simply by adding or removing an upsell block or a presell page from one of these funnels and you have your own funnel type. You can also add later membership sites, affiliate centers or any other steps to suit your message.
I will give my thoughts about these three sections later in this article.
Chapter 1 – Elements
Russell laid down the importance of each of the elements and there are around 50 of them mentioned in this book. I will only go over specific ones that were helpful to myself.
I managed to associate what are the elements that can work with certain pages. For example, I can only view membership elements when I am working with membership pages.
I also learned why it is important to have catchy headlines and have them placed on top of most pages. It is critical for having great headlines because it determines your pages or funnels success.

Subheadlines can also be inserted, to give additional information or ramp up the curiosity and attention level of your viewers. The goal here is to make the reader thirst for more information. This will be great for you since they will continue to view your page or funnel.
Another important element that I gained an appreciation of the Ingredients Media element. This is very critical since I want options on how to properly reach and share my message to my audience.
This section will let me properly place audio, texts, and videos inside pages. I can choose to upload multimedia files I have and have them appropriately linked to the pages that I will be using.
This feature allows me to engage my own prospective clients so that they will find their visit to my site worthwhile. I gained a good first impression with them by providing them with entertaining videos that will highlight what I am trying to sell.

Chapter 2 – Pages
You can see from the graphic above why elements are the building blocks of your pages. They are placed within these appropriate pages.

- Thank You Pages – Bridge, Thank You, Offer Wall, and Share pages
- Membership Pages – Member’s Area and Access pages
- Affiliate Pages – Affiliate Area and Access pages
- Webinar Pages – Webinar Registry, Webinar Broadcast Room, Webinar Confirmation, and Webinar Replay Room pages
- Other Pages – Ask, Application, Home, Hangout, Store Front, Hero, and Live Demo pages
Whatever funnel you will need for your business, it can be created from any of these 37 pages.
Sections are kind of like the foundation for the page that you are creating. They will contain everything that will be added later. Rows and columns are then inserted and they will break down the page. It puts everything in the right order and makes your page organized so that you will later know where to locate the elements.
You can definitely use the included templates with the appropriate rows and columns. You will just have to edit the included elements to fit your message. If you are an advanced user, you can choose to build this page from scratch.
Also, within these pages, you can include the scripts and sales copy freely that will help you sell. And just so you know, Russell also has a program that can assist you in creating these scripts and sales copy. Trust me that you need this because it is not an easy job. Especially if you do not have the experience, it will take up a lot of your time.

Chapter 3 – Funnels
I believe Russell when he stated that there are only 22 funnels that can cover all the possible business situations. He is the funnel master and he has made his reputation here. These same 22 funnels are the foundation of any funnel out there.
Russell also went ahead and categorized funnels into 4 distinct types. They are:
- Lead Funnels – You use this funnel as you are trying to get leads and contact details from your future clients.
- Buyer Funnels – This is where your actual sales are happening. You will see upsells and downsells, shopping carts, and related items inside.
- Event Funnels – This funnel is for webinars and other scheduled events.
- Other Funnels – Russell basically lumped other funnels that cannot be categorized into the 3 types mentioned earlier.
