How To Use ClickFunnels To Sell Products (Amazing Offer Stack Technique)


ClickFunnels is a great tool to sell online products when it is combined with proper strategies.  The offer stack slide technique is an amazing way to create an irresistible offer that your customers cannot say no to.  And I want to share this technique with you so that you will be able to use it as well.

 

How do you use ClickFunnels to sell products?  

Using ClickFunnels, create an irresistible offer.  Then create a sales message around your product, identifying what the problem is and how your product solves it.  Each page in the funnel is designed for a single goal and sales message to convert the customer into a sale. 

 

This sales bundle containing your product and valuable bonus items will make your buyers feel that they are getting a tremendous offer with this purchase.

 

Let me go into detail later on how to bundle free items with your online service or product.

 

But first, let me discuss what an offer is all about.

 

An offer is really when you start bundling other services or products to go along with the primary items that you are intending to sell.  

 

When you think about your offer, examine closely how you will be providing value to your customers.

 

It all starts with your ad that will introduce your service or product towards your market.  

 

One good way to go about this is to introduce your item as something that will address a pain point of your target audience.  If you can word this ad properly, your audience will have no choice but to click on further. In order to learn your solution to their pain point.

 

Once they go to the next page that will appear as part of your sales funnel, you can show them your offer.  This could be something like a report, checklist, quick start guide, or a marketing study that will show them the solution to their pain points.  

 

You will ask them for their name and email address so that they can get their own copy of this material.  Use an opt-in form for this purpose.  

 

This should be a fair exchange for them, since all they have to do is to give you their email address in exchange for this valuable information.  It should be fairly obvious here that they want this case content, which is why they are willing to share their contact details.

 

Remember that this is just merely a part of the total offer you will be pitching to your clients.  It would really make your offer irresistible if you can add to it as these customers travel along your marketing sales funnel system.  

 

The Stack Slide

 

The stack slide diagram shown above is an example of bundling other services or products with your main item.  

 

You can see from the line entries above which help increase the total value of the main item being sold.

 

I cannot emphasize enough how crucial the stack slide is in terms of having it included in your sales copy and advertising.  You can see that this will make your offer irresistible and very attractive as long as you have the correct mix inside this bundle.

 

Let me now discuss with you how to go about presenting this stack.

 

Present this stack part at the end of the presentation or when you’re recapping.  Try to list all the benefits and features of your items together with their respective values.  But before you do this, always make certain that you have fully explained what the item you are selling is all about.

 

Before you talk about the price, discuss these benefits and features along with each of their individual values.  When completed, finally you reveal the entire package price. You come up with this figure by adding the value of every benefit and feature that will end up as my total price.  

 

Continue talking again by explaining why the total price is high.  This is your opportunity to fix the price inside your audience’s minds, by justifying it.  You can do it in 2 ways:

 

  1. By pointing out that this total price will make them come closer to their final goal, of obtaining something that they desire (i.e., a sexy body, captivating smile, etc.)
  2. Or, a way for them to finally get rid of their pain points (i.e., get rid of excess weight, improve posture, etc.)

 

You will now deliver your surprise by telling them the real price of your item or package.  You should start to see your audience being amazed since they probably could not believe that they are getting a lower price after all.  The word STEAL will probably be the one firmly etched inside their heads by now.

 

You are not yet done though.  But you are almost there, which is why you really want to close the deal now.  

 

This is the part where you want to point out the scarcity factor.  What this means is, that you are giving them x amount of time to buy your item.  This is before it returns to its old price or perhaps even withdrawn from being available for sale.

 

Scarcity and urgency are powerful driving factors.  They will force your customers to decide right away in making this purchase.  

 

These are the statistics that came from the Russell Brunson book Dotcom Secrets which are backing up this statement:

 

  • You will see a 59% increase in the transaction to click rates when you use the word urgent in your emails.
  • If you have urgency in this subject line of your email, you are more likely to see an increased sales rate of 16%.
  • Red and orange text colors are very effective in making people click on your CTA.
  • When you use the countdown timers in your pages, you can get more people to act right away.  You are conveying this sense of urgency here together with FOMO or Fear of Missing Out feeling which is powerful by itself.
  • You have to be very specific in your instructions.  Say exactly what you want your audience to do, so you can make this sense of urgency very effective.

 

If you follow this method strictly, there is a very excellent chance that you will get massive sales of your item.

 

However, in case that you are not seeing much success after you have bundled your items, you will just have to check and recheck the package.  You might have to change the items contained inside the bundle, remove certain ones, or simply add more to get the right mix. 

 

The Value Ladder

 

Let me now talk about the value ladder, which should give you a more thorough understanding behind this stacking technique psychology.

 

In the value ladder, you are providing them more value as they go through the ascending steps through these additional offers or upsells.

 

The free information that you will give to your visitors on the front end. Is what is shown on the left part of the value ladder diagram.  As mentioned earlier, they will leave their email address in exchange for this.  As your clients go up on this value ladder, they are getting additional value and it is only fair that these people pay more for these value items.

 

This setup gives you an opportunity to further improve this offer, in each step of this sales funnel of yours. 

 

Think of each step in this value ladder as the individual pages that are comprising your sales funnel.

 

Each page can correspond to how your client is feeling as they are passing through each of them.  

 

The beginning pages will build awareness and interest while the ending pages will be where you are making your sale.  

 

There is a chance that you will not be making the sale right away.  Since people take their time in making this kind of decision anyway.  Statistics say that the average consumer requires 90 days before making the decision.

 

However, once they have made their decision, this is the part where a bond is formed between you and them.  You can now freely relate to them, which will make them buy the item that you are selling.  

 

I would like to add that you can add the other items in your stack possibly for FREE or discounted. Even throw in FREE shipping as an incentive anywhere within these stages.  Your incentive is that you will make additional revenue with each step that they are taking in this value ladder.

 

Map out your offers the right way through upsells and downsells, from the first item onto the next one.

 

Cover all possible situations and give the most value to these clients, who are going up your value ladder.

 

These people are definitely interested in your offer and very much willing to share more information about themselves.  They are probably considering opening their own wallets to pay for the item that you are selling.

 

Let me explain what will happen in case you only have this one item, with a single price. 

 

I would like to relate this to 3 types of customers, that have seen your sales copy promoting this item.  They are interested since it is addressing their particular pain points.

 

The first type of customers can readily pay your exact selling price.  There should not be an issue here since they can pay immediately to get this item.  

 

The second type of customer only has half the amount available, for the price you are selling.  There is an increased possibility that they would back out of purchasing. Since these customers do not have sufficient funds to cover the transaction.

 

The third type of customer has more than enough to buy 3 times the price that you are selling but will end up buying 1 piece only.  This applies more to physical products.

 

As you can observe here, you will lose money with the second and third customer as explained earlier.  You are unfortunately leaving money on the table in these situations.

 

What you can do here is offer a lower-priced item that comes with lesser value for the second customer.  For the third customer, try to be creative and create the opposite – a higher-priced item that comes with a higher value.

 

And that is why this is called a value ladder.   

 

As the value increases, there is a justifiable increase in the item’s price.  The lesson for you here is that you should really focus on providing important value to all types of customers.  And you will do this by having different product offerings.

 

You should not make the mistake of focusing all of your attention on the revenue or sales side of this transaction.  Instead, concentrate on the value that you will be providing. This is the value ladder, not the price ladder.

 

The purchases will happen almost magically when you focus on the client and the value that you are providing this person.

 

Focus on who is my ideal client?  Afterward, try to picture what do they need to be addressed with the service or product that I am trying to sell.  The aim here is that my services or products can be the answer, based on their needs and desires.

 

Then you proceed to start mapping your value ladder.  Begin plotting these additional services or products and check on where the gaps are.  This is critical because you will need to fill in these gaps by coming up with newer products, different item variations, or by just linking these items.

 

At the end of the day, our goal is to deliver more value to our target clients that will make them feel satisfied.  In the end, you get to earn from all of these efforts.

 

Now that I have gone over the stack slide and value ladder, let me share some further insights on why product bundling really works.

 

Why You Should Bundle Your Services Or Products

 

Basically, when you bundle your products together, you are creating a new price point.  Your customers will see these multiple items that are grouped together for sale. They will immediately think for all this value I get this deal pricing for this package.

 

You, as the seller here, can really unlock your online store’s earning potential.  You will see the following benefits.

 

Increase In Average Order Value Without An Increase In Transaction Costs

 

There is a cost to be paid for each sales transaction that is coming through your store.  When you sell multiple items bundled in a package, you will pay the same transaction cost as if this is just a single item.  

 

It is quite reasonable that you will be pricing this bundle higher when compared to selling a single item.  The customers will not have a problem with this since they are getting more for the price they are paying.

 

You Are Setting Yourself Apart Compared To Your Competitors

 

This is a wise move, especially if you have so many competitors offering the same item.  You are making yourself different from them by offering great value to your customers. A competitive edge that is not easy to get in today’s marketplace is your takeaway here.

 

This Is A Novel Way Of Removing Your Slow-Moving Inventory

 

Let’s face it, there are items that we thought could have sold faster than what thought.  This results in us having excess inventory that is taking up space.

 

Product bundling is an effective way that you can remove these items from your inventory.  They can be easily added to the main item that you are selling. By doing this, you are reigniting the market for this stale product and can end up moving more of this item later.  

 

If you find later that traffic is indeed coming into your funnel but nobody is still opting in, then this means that your offer is not attractive enough.  You have to review this and make it more exciting so that people will buy-in.
